What People
Have To Say About The Hutchison Effect: |
Mel Winfield
Puts A Spin On The Hutchison Effect
The Hutchison Effect is a striking
collection of levitation & materials effects that's gone 20
years without explanation - or has it? Scientist & inventor
Mel Winfield claims that today's Hutchison-Effect arose as a
validation of effects predicted by his vortex-gravity theory
of Nucleonic Energy over 20 years ago, and joins us to talk
about his model of physics to offer insight into this
compelling mystery.
"When we first started, my theory was
in its infancy. However, it was close enough to enable me to
know what equipment was necessary to accomplish levitation.
The combination of John's equipment and mine did it. I am
not saying that John hasn't spent a lot of time on this
project trying to make it work on demand, but he won't be
able to do this without some changes in his equipment. I'm
only claiming to have originated the theory behind it and to
have urged John to combine our equipment to accomplish it.
Whether he had thought about trying to do this prior to
1981, or even had anything unusual happen due to his
electrical discharges, is beside the point. True efficient
levitation could not happen before our equipment
arrangement.
I lent John Hutchison a piece of
equipment in 1981 to go with his existing tools to duplicate
Tesla's transmission of electricity through the air. John
subsequently phoned and said that he had operated all the
equipment together and was very surprised that a heavy bar
of plastic had flopped over. It was hard for him to believe
until further experiments verified it..." - Dr. Mel

"John Kenneth Hutchison of Vancouver, Canada, tinkered with an
array of simultaneously interactive fields; a combination of
electrostatic, magnetic, microwave and Tesla Coil fields.
Without predictable warning and with some randomness, these
fields interacted with objects. Levitations, thrusted weights,
glowing, apparent softening and bending of hard metal alloys,
and strange alloy separations were some of the phenomena
reported. Some events were witnessed and reported by George
Hathaway." Additional details of the experiments are related in
the Electric Spacecraft journal. One series of
experiments was performed while observers from Los Alamos
Laboratory, U. S. aircraft firms, and military personnel
observed and made video camera recordings. There is no doubt
that things happened which were difficult to explain. However,
the experimental procedures were such that John Kenneth
Hutchison would try various combinations of pulsed power,
microwaves, etc., without records to correlate what caused what.
The best that could be done at the time was to observe. There is
no claim of electrogravitic forces here, but massive objects
were said to have moved, presumably as a result of the
externally applied fields. Mr. Hutchison claimed that the
presence of heavy masses was important in his levitation
experiments. The phenomenon generated by Mr. Hutchison requires
more investigation.

"The anomalous melting of metal
without any evidence of heating, burning or scorching of the
adjacent materials (usually wood) can be easily explained if one
considers the external high voltage intermediate frequency
source to be resonant with the molecular structure of the metal.
In such a case, resonance will efficiently use up the external
energy to change the metal structure, to the next higher energy
level structure which is the liquid state. Thus the metal
structure will take over liquid properties, and any foreign
solid material, such as wood or different metal, will 'sink'
into it. Once the oscillation is switched off, the foreign
material will be permanently trapped within the solid structure.
The radio wave interferences involved in producing these effects
are produced from at least two radio sources, with the correct
frequency difference, both operating at low power. However, the
zone in which the interferences take place is stressed by
hundreds of kilovolts oscillating at the intermediate resonant
frequency."
Scalar
science expert Tom Bearden has said of John:
"Now
back to the Hutchison experiments. Basically John blasts away,
often with two coils at once, and creates gradients that are (1)
very sharp and (2) very strong momentarily. So he creates (when
he gets everything adjusted just right) some persistent Dirac
sea holes, which produce negative energy EM fields and
potentials, and also produce negative energy Heaviside
components. These latter components are what produce the
significant antigravity, levitation, etc. when these phenomena
occur (usually not controlled, but just willy-nilly). John has
learned over the years how to increase the probability of
getting the results, without understanding just what is doing
it.'

John Hutchison
is an autodidact Canadian scientist, known for
his claims of controversial scientific
discoveries, including the Hutchison effect. He
has had no scientific education, but has taught
himself everything he knows about science. In
the 1980s he worked for the US & Canadian
military with some paranormal phenomena that he
discovered and called the Hutchison effect. He
claims that at the end of the cold war the
military intelligence service destroyed his lab
in Vancouver, while he was in Europe. As proof
of this spectacular encroachment John Hutchison
presented photos of letters from official
science and government organizations, as well as
a letter from the royalty, Hans-Adam II, Prince
of Liechtenstein.
John
has also claimed to have invented over-unity
batteries which pull energy from the Casimir
effect, which he calls Q Cells or Hiroshima
cells.
Several laboratories, from scientifically
recognized institutions such as NASA and the Max
Planck Institute, have attempted to reproduce
his experiments, but so far none has been
capable of reproducing his results. In fact John
Hutchison himself hasn't been capable of
reproducing his own results for a long period of
time. He explains that this is because of the
great loss of equipment due to the military
intelligence service destruction of his lab, or
because he has been restricted by the government
from doing his experiments. Most scientists
assume that his results are a hoax.
He
has participated in many TV documentaries
starting in 1965, including programs on the The
Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, and
Nippon Television.[1][2] Mostly he presents his
theories that aim to explain the technology
behind UFOs
